2 Preparations for tuning
2.1@How to handle measuring instrument
@A measuring instrument confirming what kind of state the pitch of the "Ϊͺ" is in is
necessary for tuning
Measuring instrument But,there is not it and must not go by ception
I can find the price if I go to the shop of the musical instrument for around 40
AIf temperature rises, as for the "Ϊͺ", the pitch rises by the standard frequency of
the tuning, too
It is 440 in consideration of this I put it together in Hz
The tolerance level is a range (-15 cents - +15 cent) of the chart below right red@
@2.2@Pitch confirmation of the "Ϊͺ"
@After as pitch falls as for the confirmation of the pitch when a "Ϊͺ" gets cold. A
"Ϊͺ" warmed Please confirm it
AI confirm second "E", former "E", balance of three pitch of n"E"
n"E" is all holes pitch that is in condition to have blocked it up, and n"E" shows
@@ this state afterward
BI confirm the situation of each pitch(you summarize it in a table and should record it)
CI recommend that I tune it when pitch is against the whole 15 cents or more

3 Method of the tuning
@3.1@When I regulate the length of the whole "Ϊͺ"
@ 3.1.1@When three pitch of "n"(code E) is high, and other pitch almost matches
@I mean that full length when I blocked up all holes is short
Therefore it is a long comb at the tip of the "Ϊͺ", I lower pitch of "n"(code E),
( Chart below A)
AI cut some tip of the "Ϊͺ" which I do not use to lengthen the whole "Ϊͺ" longer
@@BI am connected to the tip of the shakuhachi provisionally and confirm whether the length
of the parts which I cut is appropriate
@@CWhile the confirmation of the pitch "n"(code E) sharpen cutting parts with a grinder;
thin I regulate
@@DI wait the time when I put time, and the temperature of the tip parts and the "Ϊͺ" reached
normal temperature, and the pitch confirmation measures it I do it
@@EConfirm the direction of the connection side, the position of mutual holes, and mark it so
that there is not a position gap; it I adhere to the indication
@@FThe adhesion is slightly thick using bond having a lot of adhesion time thinly in the
outside in the inside of both sides I paint with a finger and adhere
The adhesion materials stick out inside of a pipe when I paint with the inside thick
@@GI get up in the state that I made after the adhesion more than one day
@@HI add thickness so that the inside of the muzzle does not have a step and paint it in a
"JV
"cashew
3.1.2@When three pitch of "n"(code E) is low, and other pitch almost matches
(1)I empty a resonance adjustment hole between the tip with 1 hole
(@ of chart below B)
@@ @I shorten the full length of the "Ϊͺ" and should raise pitch, but am resonant between
1 hole and tip I emptied an adjustment hole and shortened full length for the pitch
@@ AI let you make a hole big while emptying a small hole, and confirming it first
@@ BThis method is simple and easy, and the tuning of the pitch is easy, too, and it does not
affect the pitch of other holes either
(2)I shorten the full length of the "Ϊͺ"shakuhachi
@A method (@ of chart below B) to cut down the tip of the "Ϊͺ" little by little
AI change the overall figure, dimensions, and there is not it, and there are methods to
change the shape of the hole of the leader
(A of chart below B) (B of chart below B) (C of chart below B)
@3.1.3@Of the overall pitch when is high
@@@As for overall pitch being high, the position of the hole from "Μϋ" means a short thing
in the whole. Therefore, I lengthen one near a "Μϋ" and lower the pitch as a whole
@@AIn this case will join the pipe. But various problems produce the finish in advance
(the chart below)
@@BI cannot recommend this method toward the amateur. How do do it; toward the professional
@@@
3.1.4@When pitch is low in the whole
(there are generally many these tendencies)
@@@As for overall pitch being low, the position of the hole from "Μϋ" means a long thing
in the whole. Therefore, the whole pitch becomes higher if I shorten the "Ϊͺ" which
a "Μϋ" is near
ACut 2 points at around 6 centimeters from the "Μϋ" of the "Ϊͺ" slightly short, is
short with a "Ϊͺ" I raise pitch of the whole
The reason why I cut a place near a "Μϋ" is that I facilitate the adhesion, the
painting
@@BI mark a point to distance to cut for 2
@@CI fix a shakuhachi and cut it while turning a "Ϊͺ" using a metallic saw
@@DI also smooth off a connection side with a grinder evenly
@@EI wrap the "Ϊͺ" with tape not to slip off using a marking as an indication and am
connected provisionally and confirm pitch
@@FI wait the time when I put time if pitch nears expectation, and the temperature of
the "Ϊͺ" became the normal temperature and measure it
@@GThe connection that I confirmed the direction of the connection side, the position of
mutual holes and set so that there was not a position gap
I adhere using a point as an indication
@@HI paint with a finger slightly thick, and the adhesion glues the outside together using
bond having a lot of adhesion time thinly so that bond does not protrude in a pipe
@@II get up in the state that I made after the adhesion more than two days
@@JGet rid of the surface irregularities of the connection side, is the adhesion island in
bond with Japanese paper of width around 7mm on a connection side
Do I paint with a cashew on the Japanese paper after the drying and finish it
(there is the method to finish by the chart below method 2)
@@KI fix the internal irregularities and paint the pipe in "JV"
